REVIEW: Bumble & Bumble Alojoba

I feel like I do a lot of  hauls on my blog but not enough reviews for all the products I try. I recently bought a new set of shampoo and condition from Bumble & Bumble. I normally don't use this brand and this is the first time I'm trying it.

Bumble & Bumble. Alojoba Shampoo and Conditioner

Bumble and bumble Alojoba Conditioner is a smoothing organic conditioner that repairs, softens and improves your hair's overall look and feel.

  • Organic smoothing conditioner with aloe, jojoba, cucumber, chamomile, vitamins B5 & E
  • Recommended for use on all hair types
  • Smoothes, softens, silkens and shines without weight gain
  • Protects and improves hair's natural shine and flexibility
  • Restores hair's elasticity and flexibility

I've been using this combo for a couple of weeks now and I feel like I can give my opinion. This is available at most retailers like Target or Wal-Mart. I picked up my set from Kroger. I've read quite a bit of feed back and it's really divided. Some people hate it and some people really love it.

To give you a little background on my hair, I have long, thin, straight hair. It gets color treated every 3 weeks and I try to use a deep conditioner every week.

The Good

I love the way the shampoo and conditioner smells and feels after you wash your hair. It feels shinny, lightweight, and healthy. I rarely have fly aways after I use this shampoo/conditioner combo.

The smell is really clean and refreshing. It smells close to other products that are made from natural ingredients. I would compare the smell to Philosophy's Purity Cleanser.
  • Maintains fly aways
  • Moisturizing
  • Shiny and Soft Hair
  • Smells good

The Bad

One thing I did not like about this shampoo is that it does not lather. No matter how much you use, it does not suds up at all. It sort of feels like I'm putting lotion in my hair. The directions say to lather in your hand before you put it in your hair, but still very low lather and I'm sure I'm wasting a lot of product bc I think I need more.

After you rinse the shampoo out of your hair, it has that squeeky clean feel to it.

I also find that it makes my hair feel nice, but I do have to wash my hair every other day or else it turns greasy and gets tangled. This is the first shampoo that I've used that has done that to my hair.
  • Hair gets greasy faster
  • Tangles
  • Low lather
  • Expensive

I like the shampoo and conditioner combo, but I will not be repurchasing this line. I think I will try a different Bumble&Bumble product. It is pretty pricey too and I have certain drugstore products that do the same exact thing.

Anyone else love or hate Bumble & Bumble? Any recommendations?

The map screen and non-linear layout offer you some choice,
so if you're having a hard time with a level you can always enjoy a good game. The Culture Club singer has released a video for his cover of" 80s video games" came under fire for making our kids lazy, insubor. Violent 80s video games numb parts of the city, and only a regular customer can lead you to them. This allows the hardware to react instantaneously to real-time tilts and motions.
