HAUL: Target

I've been trying to talk myself into saving money, but it never happens when I go to Target. I ran there really quick today to buy some present wrapping supplies and I KNEW I should have skipped the makeup department, but I stopped.

There were TONS of new displays and new releases and being the junkie that I am, I picked up a couple of things.

I picked up 3 new nail polishes. I would have picked up more, but these displays were basically picked over.

The first shade is Tangerene Crush from the L'Oreal Color Riche line. I don't know if this is a new shade, but it was on the end cap display and I LOVE bright oranges.

The next shade is from the Nicole by O.P.I line. It's from the Kardashian Kolor collection. I didn't want to buy anything to support them but I wanted to see if this color was a dupe for Deborah Lipmann's Birthday Suit. This color is called Rainbow in the S-Kylie. I bought 2 bottles, one for a stocking stuffer.

The last shade is from Revlon. It's from their Colorstay line. It's called Passionate Pink. I never even knew Revlon made nail polishes in the Colorstay line.

This next product, I'm actually going to rave about. I've used it a couple of times and I love it!! It's by L'Oreal and it's from their 24hr Infallible line. It's one of their potted eye shadows in Amber Rush.

I really like the color pay off and the consistency of it. When you first unscrew the cap, I thought it was going to be a pigment, but it's actually a pressed shadow. It has a little cap ontop so the shadow doesn't get everywhere.

The color is a copper bronze and it's a really great base or all over lid color. I don't think they last 24hrs but they last a decent amount of time with a primer. I'm tempted to go back and pick up more colors, but I don't want to be disappointed in the other colors.

The last things I picked up were the new Color Riche Balms by L'Oreal. I stood there for a long time and debated if I should pick up all the shades, but I only chose a few of the ones I knew I would wear.

There are 8 shades total and I picked up 4 of them. As you guys know, I'm a sucker for pinks and neutrals so that's what I got. I believe these were $5.99 at Target.

The first color I picked up was Pink Satin, Rose Elixir, Caring Coral, and Nourishing Nude. I'm gonna go pick up the other 4 and do a full review.

If you love your Revlon Lip Butters I would skip these. They're just an expensive lip balm. They're not as moisturizing as the Revlon ones and there is very slight color payoff.

Happy holidays ladies! What are you hauling lately!?

REVIEW: L'Oreal Colour Riche Balms

I was so disappointed by Revlon's lip balms that I was disparately trying to find another lip balm that I loved.

I saw these L'Oreal Colour Riche lip balms at CVS and I knew I wanted to try them right away. The display offered 8 shades in a pretty plastic cap packaging.

I've read that a lot of people were disappointed with these lip balms bc they aren't as pigmented as Revlon's, but I like the formula of these better. They wear like a deep conditioning balm with a 'my lips but better' tint.

These balms are super moisturizing and glides on without a hitch. They aren't sticky and the finish has a nice shine to it.

These lip balms have a beautiful pigmentation. I think they enhance your lips beautifully and give you the my lips but better color.

A lot of the darker shades show up better on my skin tone. There really isn't much of a difference between the lighter shades so I don't recommend hauling too many of them.

Caring Coral - Nude Coral
Sorry, I some how managed to lose the pictures for this color ... please refer to the ones above ^-^

Nourishing Nude - Brownish Nude

Tender Mauve - berry mauve

Rose Elixir - darker rosey pink

Plush Plum - Plum berry

Pink Satin - clear pink

Heavenly Berry - Rosey Berry

Caramel Comfort - Nude Beige

COLLECTIVE HAUL: Christmas, Online, Stuff

I always feel pretty awkward when people ask me how my Christmas went. It's not because I didn't have a good Christmas, but in my family, Christmas is like any other day. I didn't receive any presents this year and everyone in my family just exchanges money so you buy what you want.

I posted about the Juicy Couture deal a while ago and the nail polishes came in before Christmas. I haven't used any of them yet, but they seem like good quality.

I also got something from Bluenile. They sent me a gift certificate and I used it on this pearl bracelet. It's surprisingly very heavy and sturdy.

One of my co-workers bought me some perfume. I don't really like Estee Lauder perfumes but this one doesn't smell bad at all.

I redeemed my perfume certificate from Sephora and I got the Coach Poppy perfume. I wanted the red one instead of the purple one so I might still go back and buy it.

I was also about $70 points away from being a V.I.B. so I sucked it up and bought myself some more things. I picked up another perfume. I've been eyeballing the Hello Kitty Perfume and it was on sale from $69 to $55. I believe it's even cheaper online right now.

I also picked up a new NARS bronzer, some brush cleaner for my roomie, and some Soap&Glory hand lotion. I also got some NARS Sheer Glow foundation samples.

Book Of Shadows IV Now Only $35

So I didn't get in on the black friday deal, but it's back! This palette has 16 shadows and 10 of which are new. It also comes with full-size 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, a travel-size Eyeshadow Primer Potion and a travel-size Supercurl Curling Mascara.

The palette also doubles as a portable speaker. I don't think that I'm ever going to need to use it as such but it's a good thought huh?

Best part ... free shipping lol

ANNNNND I know most of you bloggers got the MyGlam box this month and guess what!? There's a coupon inside (code: Myglam11) and it takes $15 off the Book of Shadows!!!! Making your total, well at least mine ... $36.45 with tax!!!!!!

They're also offering the 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash for $19

HAUL: Ulta

So I did it again. Every time I go home I make a stop at Sephora and Ulta. It's like a drug, no matter how tired I am I have to stop. I separated this into a couple of different hauls bc I didn't wanna bombard everyone with stuff.

Ulta has been sending me coupons non-stop this month. I have at least 4 different coupons and I only got the chance to use one of them. The Ulta in my town was pretty picked over and the line was hella long so I didn't feel like going back and trying to use the other coupons.

Plus, I prefer to shop at Sephora anyways. Their point system is better. Oh yea ... I finally made VIB with only a few days left in the year =) yaaaay!

On to the haulage ...

I bought a pair of Eylure lashes in 202. These are double lashes so hopefully they will make my eye lashes look fuller. I heard really good things about these lashes so hopefully they live up to the hype.

I also bought the powder brush from the Real Techniques Line. I saw a couple of reviews for some of these brushes and I have a blush and foundation brush from this line and I like it so I thought I would try the powder one.

I had a coupon for $5 off a $10 purchase so the lashes basically came out to be free.

The next couple of things were impulse buys.

I bought a lipstick from Smashbox. Its called Pout. It's a baby doll pink. I might take it back. The color payoff kinda sucks and it wasn't the color I was originally going for.

I also bought a new primer bc the sales girl was color matching my foundation and she said I had a lot of red undertones. I didn't think so, but she had me doubting myself so I picked up Smashbox's Color Correcting Primer in Green. Hopefully it helps out my skintone.

Last thing I picked up was a Sparkling Lip Gloss by Urban Decay. The color selection was pretty picked over so I got the last tube called Space Cowboy. It's a minty sheer glitter gloss. These remind me of the ELF ones. Taste and color.
