Bloom.com: Review and Haul

This is my first experience with this website and I wanted to let you guys know how it went. I'm not sponsored by them and I didn't receive these products for free. I paid for everything with my own monaaaay =)

I'll admit, I only used this website bc there was a coupon code online. The deal was just too good to not take part in. The coupon was for $25 off a $50 purchase. So basically 50% off my purchase and free shipping.

I placed my order on November 23, 2011. I wasn't sure if the shipping time was normal or maybe they were just busy for the holiday but it took a whole week for my order to be finally filled and shipped.

I received an email on November 29, 2011 and I received the order only 2 days later! Super quick shipping but slow processing.

I was also a little confused bc the website doesn't offer a place to check the status of your order. You can look at the receipt and the order details, but no order status.

The package had pretty pink tissue paper.

There was a lot of bubble tubes so nothing was smushed or damaged. I really liked the care they took in their packaging.

These were my purchases:

Beauty Blender Single - $19.95

Beauty Blender Cleaner - $17.95

They had a gift pack where you got 2 beauty blender sponges and the cleaner for $39.95, but it was sold out. Plus I don't really need more than one of these sponges since I like to alternate between my Sigma F80 and the sponge.
Lime Crime Lipstick in Countessa Flourescent - $16.00

I remember seeing these lipsticks in a lot of youtube videos about a year ago, but never really took the time to look for them. I was interested because they were in weird colors and super pigmented. I picked this color based on swatches so I'm hoping it will look alright on my lips.

The one thing about these lipsticks is that they will stain your lips. I did the swatch on my hands and I wiped it off about a minute later and there was a pink stain.

The color is a bright pink and the texture is super creamy. Reminds me of the MAC lipsticks. I read on another blog that the lipstick wears better without a primer or base and with a gloss underneath.

I also received 3 free samples. I forgot how many brands they offered but I didn't really know  a lot of them so I picked these MOR lotion samples.

MOR Basil and Grape Hand Cream
MOR Sugar Rose Tiger Lily Hand Cream
MOR Honey Nectar Hand Cream

I think I could have gotten a lot more out of my coupon, but I really didn't know what to buy. I was interested in more make up products and they had more skin care than make up brands that I knew. My order total came to $28.90. Woot woot!

I'm really happy with my purchases and I would definitely purchase again. I would be super happy if there is another coupon, then I'm definitely going to order asap.

My favorite part was this card they included! It's a handwritten card with welcome to bloom.com written on it. Very cute!

@Sandra I think you totally should get the Beauty Blender! It lasts a long time and is great for foundation!
